The Day's Collision Painting & Repair shop is a modern 16,000 square foot facility on three and a quarter acres of land. We have six drive-on frame machines and computerized frame measuring. The paint department has computerized color mixing, and uses top quality BASF paints. The shop is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed from Noon to 1:00pm for lunch. Day's gives a lifetime warranty to the owner of the vehicle on their repairs. We are experienced in repairing all makes and models, and we work with all insurance companies.

Day's Collision Painting & Repair has been serving Palm Harbor and the surrounding communities with quality auto body repair and painting since 1953. We truly are a family-owned and operated business. The owners of Day's Collision are Clayton Miller and his wife Pamela Day Miller, and it's interesting that they both grew up in body shops with their parents and grandparents. Pamela's father and mother started the shop on Georgia Avenue in 1953. In November 2006 they moved the shop five blocks to the corner of Florida Avenue and Alternate 19.

Clayton grew up in this line of work, a fourth generation bodyman in the automotive field with over 25 years experience in heavy collision repair and painting. He is also an ASE Certified Master Collision Repair Technician and Refinishing Master Technician, and ASE certified in Suspension and Steering, Heating and A/C, Damage Analysis, and Estimating. For 5 years, he has been a Chevrolet Certified Master Collision Technician, scoring in the top 80 out of 36,000 technicians nationwide who qualified for the Chevrolet Certified Technician test. Clayton has successfully completed the following courses from I-CAR: "Interindustry Conference on Automotive Repairs: Unibody Repairs", "Plastic Repair SMC", "Steering and Suspension", "Finish Matching", "Advanced Vehicle Systems", "Aluminum", "Collision Repair 2000", "Aluminum Repair" and "Welding". He is also a former I-CAR instructor in the Pinellas County Area.

Pamela, Clayton's wife, grew up in the same body shop that they now own and is the bookkeeper and secretary. Their daughter Jessica works in the office with her mother. Their son Dustin is the shop mechanic, and also drives the tow trucks. Their youngest son Logan helps out around the shop with his family.

Here at Day's we strive to make the repair experience a pleasant one. We have many years of knowledge and experience and can guide you effortlessly through the sometimes complicated repair process. If you are looking for a shop for quality vehicle repairs that has a lifetime guarantee and personal service, you should come to Day's.
